V Rally 3, Hitman 2: Silent Assassion and Sonic Adventure DX are definitely the big-hitters due for release on the GameCube this coming Friday. In fact, after the past couple of dry weeks this could be seen as quite an important upcoming one - but will any of them manage to top the charts next Monday? The Game Boy has been busy over the past few weeks, and this Friday sees two more potential hits appearing on the shelves. Many of the new Game Boy Player adopters will be looking for games to play on the big screen, and what better than the handheld version of Simpsons Road Rage? Well, there is always the new Hamtaro title, Ham-Ham Heartbreak. Anyone remember the first UK Hamtaro game on the GBC back in January? No? Well, that's because it sold about three copies! Nintendo will certainly be hoping to emulate the series success in both Japan and the US over here this time around. Make sure you see what happens next week...

Enter the Matrix lands the No.1 spot for the Nth week now, holding off the online bore-fest that is SOCOM on the PS2 (No.2) and The Sims: Superstar on the PC (No.3). The XBOX, which has been performing extremely well relative to a few months back, sees its exclusive title Brute Force enter in at No.4. Multi-format Hulk gets a huge boost from the PS2 table, bumping it up four to No.5 and the XBOX release of Midnight Club II helps the game turn around and move back up to No.6 from last week's No.15. Yet another XBOX game is found at No.11 - Soldier of Fortune II is a new entry, and at No.13 is a brand new PC, Star Trek: Elite Force II.

The new game based around the Starsky & Hutch series enters in at No.15, whilst Konami's GBA Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition takes a slight knock and drops three to No.21. Possibly one of Acclaim's last ever titles on the GameCube, Burnout 2, slips four to No.24, Mario's alter-ego nemesis Wario's d
