It kinda seems like the touch controls might ruin the game, its stupid for them not to allow you to use a hybrid of touch and the buttons, hopefully they will.

Hopefully... Sadly I don't think they will do it, that video showed it to be quite finished with touch control. Then again, everybody's been asking for games on the DS to show more inventive use of the touch screen, maybe Nintend actually knows what there doing and this might actually play well. One can hope.

Looks great to me! I don't think we can judge the control system from a video. Smilie

First I thought: what did they do to the music? And the water looks really bad, but it will be a good game I'm sure.

Dear God you people are picky!!!

Think the controls will work just fine (and offer some new gameplay opportunities). Think bits of the water looked odd, but other bits looked fine. Just thought it all looked gorgeous, especially given the system it's running on.

Love the close-ups and cut scenes up top. Love the look of the dungeons. Love all the character design. Can't wait to get back into the Wind Waker world!!!

I don't mind the touch-screen movement, as long as the action takes place in the upper screen ala Metroid Prime.

Looks great to me, this is a very weak handheld in terms of specs, if it were not i would expect more, but it is not so i dont, it's a simple equation. Aonuma and Co are still working away at it, just posted a interview with him in the Zelda thread. LS

How long before someone comments on the music?

Oh right... Well yeah... I loves it. That's one of my favourite tunes from A Link to the Past ^^

Yet another great looking DS game that I probably can't afford... Damnit ;-;

This game fucking rocks! Smilie it looks so awsome!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Will it live up to the Lampshade of Little Significance? Hmm!

Every trailer that I see makes me want to buy this more. Nintendo's golden age #2 is coming...

Dude... it looks incredible...

I seriously can't believe the DS is capable of such a massive looking games. It looks like the ocean is explorable, & all of that explorable area is coming out of that tiny cartridge....

Jesus, it's awesome, really. I think neither PSX nor N64 ever reached that quality in a full 3D environment... kudos to big N for that achievement.
Simply outstanding.

It's looking extremely nice in visuals and also seems to be a huge world, especially for the DS. I also hear another re-worked piece of music from; A Link to the Past and I truly hope it will be in the final version of the game, along with the other piece we heard from the E3 trailer.

Overall the games looking good, but I'm a little distorted over the touch screen controls. I clearly hear Nintendo wants make gaming more accessible to non-gamers, but I feel this will just make it a lot harder. They should at least include the option for D-pad control as I feel this is easier.

Portable WW with touch screen controls and multiplayer.

Simply pro.

Eh...I don't think I've ever seen a texture as bad as the one in the scene with the guy choking Link, in for example Ocarina of Time.

I think we all know what this game really needs...

No - it really needs the Spinner. What an item...
