Nintendo News | Keiji Yano Talks Elite Beat Agents

By Jorge Ba-oh 08.03.2007 2

Keiji Yano recently spoke on all things Elite Beat Agents, possible Wii projects and various other tidbits on the quirky DS hit.

Thanks to C3 reader AmazingJanet who picked out some top points from the 1up Transcript.

3:24: How did the "Agents are go!" phrase come about? Yano himself came up with the phrase. He got it from two things: 1) Thunderbirds and 2) Way NASA talks about launching spaceships.

3:21: Question about the new rival characters in the sequel...do we play as them? He can't talk about it (boo!).

3:20: Thoughts on the Wii and developing for it. Yano likes the Wii (what else would he say?). He's in talks with them...which means, yes, he's making a game.

3:19: Will they port the game to another system? Yes, they would...can't speak about it, though. Hmm...Elite Beat on Atari Jaguar
