Nintendo News | Touch the Dead With DS

Quick News - A listing on Gamestop shows off an unknown game called 'Touch the Dead', set to be published and developed by Eidos. A customer preview quotes, "This game is for anyone who loves games about ... dead things. Not quite Resident Evil, not quite Zombie Revenge or Dead Rising either, but an interesting new take on games about dead things which makes good use of the DS stylus."

Initially I thought that this could be a new name for the project 'Dead 'N' Furious' from a while back, but I'm not sure if Eidos were associated with it in some way now I think about it.

Actually I have been following this game through development and I think you will be suprised at how good it's going to be. It is also called Dead n Furious, not Touch The Dead (unless they have renamed it).

Anyway it looks awesome and follows an arcade style system were you will have to reload by tapping an icon on the touch screen, this acts like that point away system at arcades. The visuals are also looking quite nice and zombies look good. I can't wait for this suprise hit of 2007.

Oh! That on rails one? I think I know what you mean...*wracks brain*...I remember seeing it and thinking "Oh my"

Also, the name is awful. Really badly chosen in my opinion.

Eidos certainly are well on board with the Nintendo platforms.

Pff.... still a shit developer in my opinion.
