I'll just err... Assume that Atsushi Inaba is important... >.>

Is Seeds part of CAPCOM or not? I mean if it is I can hardly see the point in closing Clover in the first place...

I mean the logo's practically exactly the same Smilie

He was only President and CEO of Clover Studio Co., Ltd...responsible for Viewtiful Joe and Okami.

Atsushi Inaba is, sorry, WAS the CEO and Clover Studio President.
This is great news hopefully they will make some awsome games! Cant wait to see... and i doubt they will be part of Capcom... if capcom closes Clover Studios why would he create a new studio and be part of Capcom... it doesnt make sense...
anyway good news, unless they only gonna make only Sony exclusive games than bad news!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Okami Wii! Okami Wii... c'mon Capcom.

Yeah I doubted they'd be part of CAPCOM... Something seems fishy here... I mean Clover suddenly closes before they've even finished making God Hand (Or announces closure anyway) and then the CEO starts up a new studio almost instantly? Seems to me as if CAPCOM were being right bastards and he decided the get the hell out of there...

EDIT: You had me a Devil May Cry

Admittedly it was near the end but... Shut up <.<

Darn, IMO Clover is such an awesome name, Seeds sounds a little odd. Ah well, can't wait to see what they'll be up to!

Sounds like a posh sperm bank, probably for BUPA members.

FDantastic that they're not completely dispersing which often happens in cases like this (e.g. Team Andromeda is spread all over Sega).

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Oh Phoenix Wright aye?

GS: Where did the name come from?

[i]AI: People seem to like this question! Well we thought pretty hard about it, and it comes from Mikami's name and mine. It takes the

I love how the logo is close to the one of Clover. The name is quite cool as well...they're no longer plants, they're the seeds that can now grow proud again. Very interested to see what they'll be doing as their first project, both because of their immense talent (presuming many of the staff made up Clover) and because I believe Inaba is at least 'intrigued' in Wii. This was a few months ago though, so his interest could have gone up or down by now. I'm curious what they could do with the Wii remote since they pretty much mastered the traditional control pad in my opinion.

I think they're supposed to be an independent developer but with ties to Capcom (I believe as Yuji Naka's new studio is/will be to SEGA), though it could be that they're just another developer within Capcom, similar to the set up that Clover enjoyed. Would seem a bit pointless to just close the Clover studio and re-open it a couple of months later though, so I'm thinking independent but probably still published by Capcom.

YESS!! YESS!! YEEEEEEEEESSSS!!

Finally! Is it in Capcom? Hope it's a bit more independant, if so then we could count on some great games coming to Wii or DS.
