Nintendo News | Wii Gets Scarred

By Jorge Ba-oh 27.01.2007 22

Quick News: Nintendo Wii is slowly beginning to experience various mature games courtesy of various third parties. According to magazine N-Gamer, Scarface will be heading to Wii. Certainly positive news for those of you who like a dose of violence in your lives.

Thanks to C3 reader AmazingJanet, GoNintendo for the tip.

The PS2/Xbox versions have pretty decent scores (76.5% and 78.1% averages respectively), need that magazine to find out exactly what they've done and whether it plays any good so far.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

It's just a cheap, PS2 & XBOX port with Wii controls tacked on. I feel Godfather: Blackhand Edition will pummel this piece of turd into the ground. Still nice to know there's more 3rd party support for the Wii. Gives the console a more mature look.

Godfather is also an expanded port though, what makes that so much better?

Personally, I welcome both games and think they'll both be pretty good. N-Gamer were very enthusiastic about the game, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

I'll tell you what makes it better. Smacking the crap out of your enemies makes it better. I can't wait to smash someones head in on a counter and punch someone till their death. It's going to be all extremely fun. I can't wait.

You lead a well adjusted life. Smilie

That's wonderful news for German 'Killergames' discussion... Smilie

every mature game coming for Wii is good to get rid of the image. I hope they are good, thou, 'cause if not there are not many more mature games any more (oh my... was this even english?).
I like that Wii is target of some decent shooters. That's what Wiimote is made for, too!

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Scarface the game is shit.. dont buy it... get the movie million times better!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Never owned an XBox console huh? XBox was full of PS2 ports and 360 has many PC ports. Smilie

I think you'll find they came out at the same time, rather than several years later
