This trailer has been around for ages...and gives no idea of how it works...
There was an old trailer that was very grainy and didn't really show the game off too well. We ran a story about it when it first aired.
And what do you mean? It clearly shows how the controller is used in the images that appear during the video!
It just shows that you press the A button....
And I downloaded the video when you first put it on here off of IGN. Honestly, it was the exact same video except it has that A button in it >_>
Hmm...okay, misunderstanding on my part then, sorry about that
But I like the way the video shows the tilting aspecting of the controller...
EDIT: Scratch that, there was an error in the embed code. The file name was wrong, for some reason. I've changed it. You're right that it WAS showing the old trailer, but check this one out now

Thought that might be the case
In any case, it's looking fantastic, but I think the controls will take some getting used to. I think they should work nicely though. Using tilting for analogue movement works really nicely in Super Monkey Ball.
I loved SSX On Tour. Hopefully, when I buy this, I won't be disappointed.
Do you reckon Mario, Peach and Luigi'll be in this one too?
I think that considering Super Punch Out was included with Fight Night Round 2, plus Mario, Luigi and Peach all featured in both SSX On Tour and NBA Street V3, yet none of the Nintendo-specific versions did very well against the PS2 and XBOX versions as a result...will probably mean 'not this time'.
But who knows...
Seeing Mario & Co. appear in a new 1080 would be more likely, I'd reckon.

I'd rather the Mario Bros stayed out they looked so odd in them EA games.
I quite like the look of that actually.

*is shocked* are you on morphine?
but yes, it does look pretty nice, EA doing something right.
nice graphics!!!
buut the controls look difficult and complicated

I was gonna ask that too
I love how musical notes come out of the rider's earphones
I hate to admit it, but I think Grumbler is right. It's looking good.
And they had good ideas for the controls. It gives me the right to believe that the control scheme of Wii is up agains everything that may be out there to play. I mean: What is more classic then pressing buttons to do tricks in SSX? And from the start I think tilting looks more natural then pressing buttons. Take that Midway-Scum!
I like it because the controls aren't gimmicky literal bollocks, they're logical use of the controller. It's what I've always said has been completely missed by most developers.
They've actually been able to sit down and think about how a tricks-based snowboarding game can work on the Wii and potentially be better than with a normal controller, rather than having some marketing cunt tell them "we want the retard customer to be able to hold the remote as if it were a snowboard", which is obviously what is happening with 99.9% of other Wii games.

That & it's an EA game? SHOCK OF THE CENTURY!!
Psych! Psych! Super psych!
My Xbox live avatar is less funny now.
(not that it was ever actually funny)

OMG
(for reference, folks, that "G" is gosh, not God )
"we want the retard customer to be able to hold the remote as if it were a snowboard"
You have to admit, though if they had tried it would have been hilarious!
spydarlee said:Once Sonic Team read that comment, they decided it might not be such a good idea to make Sonic Riders 2 using the Wiimote as the board....we want the retard customer to be able to hold the remote as if it were a snowboardYou have to admit, though if they had tried it would have been hilarious!

"No, it's affected me too, I havn't been my usual cheery self lately"
That looks pretty good and has a good looking control scheme!!
sorta defeats the point of keeping gaess imple on wqii, but i suppose this is a more ahrdcore game, cool, liiks grerat
.....sorry it seems as if someone sat on your keyboard there.
I like SSX but they are all a but samey so probably not want to go for this one.
I have been keeping a watch on this one and i'm glad to see some new media to emerge from it. The visuals looks rather nice as well as keeping faithful to the originals. The controls look simple and put greatly to use. The doubts I have about this one are the lack of chracters and courses. The controls also look a little too simple and pulling off slick tricks may not be a challenge anymore.
Anyway I'll keep my eye out on this one, as it does look a lot more exciting than the original games in the series.
