Nintendo have chosen to delay a couple of its supposed launch features of the Wii. Quite surprisingly, it has been revealed that when the Wii launches in the US on 19th November, the system will not actually have the Opera browser or its News and Weather channels.
Perhaps to give each of them more separate coverage, they have now been staggered, with the Weather Forecast channel due to hit on 20th December, the News one due on 27th January, 2007 and the Opera Internet Browser (for free until June/July 2007, if you remember) wil come at an indeterminate date (this will be revealed in a timely fashion, according to Nintendo).
However, the Wii Shopping channel will still be there on day one, with twelve classic games available to download for Wii Points.
