Nintendo News | No Blitz For Wii Launch

Quick News: Speaking to IGN this week, Midway have confirmed that the American football title Blitz: The League will not be making the Wii launch period, with reasons unknown. Rumours suggest that it could be the team delaying due to Madden NFL 07 hitting the Wii during at launch. The company noted that the title will still me making a Wii appearance, but just not in the 2006 side of the Wii's life.

Stick with C3 for future updates.

i think the whole... throw the wiimote for madden makes it a much more exciting title and more likely the one id buy any way even though im not really into American Footie games

I do not play any football games, so no loss for me.
But with not much news from Blitz in the last weeks/months, no one really was surprised with Blitz being delayed, no?

Kool not a problem... at least in 07 (when Wii online is a go) this game will have that option.

Good move from a financial point of view
