Nintendo News | Majesco To Provide Brains

By Jorge Ba-oh 26.09.2006 5

For those that have achieved a constant 20 in Nintendo's Brain Age for some time can look forward to more fun challenges in Majesco's new range of similar games.

According to Euro Gamer, the company plans to launch two titles that follow the same successful formula that Nintendo have had in the Brain series. Based on the work of Dr. Makoto Shichida, the line-up will form the 'Brain Boost' series.

The initial line-up includes Beta Wave and Gamma Wave, each containing different challenges to up your brain potential. The first looks to improve one's shape recognition, remembering sequence, addition, whilst the latter focuses on images, numbers and colours.

Hopefully Majesco's selection will be as intuitive and enjoyable as Nintendo's range when they hit retail this November.

Stay tuned to C3 for updates.

Just why don't I think, that Majesco can follow Nintendo's footsteps and even fill them out to some point?

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

They could do better with the names... I can't see grannies picking up "Beta Wave" at the gamestore.

they sound like some scary action game.

And I have Brain training and more braing training so i won't be getting a 3rd one

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

More brain training is Brian Training 2 you mean Big Brain Academy.

SEGA, KONAMI and now MAJESCO are all copying Nintendo's Training range who next...... EA, ACTIVISION who knows

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Its not just SEGA, KONAMI and MAJESCO you know Smilie. NamcoBandai and even Ubisoft have published/developed brain games. Did they sell well? Uh...neh
