UK Chart Highlights LXXXIV
...Nintendo Feels the Force

Your weekly UK Chart Round-Up brought to you by stat-man jesusraz. Remember, the images here do not reflect actual sales!

A short break...

After a two-week hiatus we are back in the familiar territory of UK chart land...and guess what? Other than a bit of an Xbox 360 resurgence, nothing much has changed since we were away! Nintendo is still doing amazingly well with its Nintendo DS Lite, selling in the region of 100,000 units per week according to the latest reports from the Wii event last Friday. And since the PS3 will not be out until March 2007, it basically has Christmas to itself...

Ringing in the changes...

Now here is something that should not surprise many

It's supposed to be out, it could be the very same thing that happened with Monkey Ball Adventure, a 3rd party multiplatform game that was release on all platforms, while the GC version was quietly delayed a few weeks.

Yup, my brother hasn't found it in Truro today, & it WOULD be in the GC top 20, so I think it must have been delayed until this Friday, or maybe next Friday.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Yeah I was pretty confused at that Chris Tarrant ad on the TV but, yeah, lol, it must be doing the job.

Seeing Chris Tarrant stands in the major GAME in Manchester was a shock...the Mario stand got taken down about a month ago.

As for Lego Star Wars GC, it's meant to be a GAME exclusive,

I still don't get confused when reading this...

Anyway, another good week for Ninty!

That's good to hear! Smilie

It's just a shame that all the people buying this first batch of Lego Star Wars DS are getting the dud, glitchy versions...with the better copies coming in the next shipment Smilie
