The "shell" still hasn't been shown, you know the one thats supposed to be a GC controller 2.0 just with a slot for the wiimote.

I'd let her touch my wii wii any day!(but that would mean buying 2 wii's and why would anyone do that?)

Shh...don't say it so loud...that's all bloody James went on about! I drank far too much beer and enjoyed the 'sights' quite a lot. Also met a VERY lovely representative from Cake

It plugs in for the wireless to work.
(aka, cheaper to make if everything uses the same wireless node)

It can also clip under it, so , yes, the classic controll pretty much IS the shell controller they talked about.

What gets me about the classic controller is...will the Wii-mote just dangle down or I suppose it won't matter as much because for classic games you'll more likely be sat down and it can rest on your knee.

Thats fantasic!, i saw the wire and assumed i would have to pull my console out to reach my sofa like usual, but this gives it a wireless option - but keeping the retro gamepad design.

You'll also see the controllers attached to the base units (they were dev kits shown at the event - it was confirmed, hence me being the first to crash one...:roll, but all is wireless, never fear

And Jorge - it's large enough, very firm and vibrates...the ladies will LOVE it

IF the Wiimote rumbles... Does anyone of you guys remember the commercial from Nokia I think? Where the women made something beneath the camera, took the phone call (the alarm was vibrating) and said "Call me agaiiiiinnnn, pleaseeeeee!"
