Nintendo Scans | Monkey Ball, Rayman, Settlers, and More ( Wii / DS )

By Jorge Ba-oh 11.08.2006 16

Various scans of Wii and DS games from a German magazine have hit the Internet demonstrating how a selection of games have been designed to work on the Wii, and the current graphical state of launch titles for the console.

Scans courtesy of Jarosh from NeoGAF who obtained these from a German magazine known as "n-zone".

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (Wii)

Rayman: Raving Rabbids (Wii)

Splinter Cell: Double Agent (GC?)

One Piece: Unlimited Adventure (Wii)

Settlers (DS)

Stick with C3 for future media updates.

Monkey Ball's looking pretty good, but fairly this-generation graphically. Will probably look much better when the little critters are in motion - not sure why the series went downhill (imo) after the great first outing.

Rayman's much better that I expected, should be one to try out at launch.

Who spilled a can of shit over Splinter Cell?!

One Piece is looking quite snazzy and yeah the splinter cell images are so dark it wasn't work posting Smilie

Monkey ball is perfectly suited to the Wiimote will definitely give it a whirl as for Rayman always thought it was shite but after watching videos of it i thinki it looks great craic

Lol, ye - doesn't look 1/2 bad. Rayman (N64) was one of my favs, really awesome game. I never did buy it as I went through a lot of it on rental.

oh quit complaining. You know JB would post better pics when they become available. At least we have any at all.

While my hopes haven't really increased, i'm definately not dissapointed in what i see Smilie

Every Super Monkey Ball game is worse then the one before it Smilie

Hopefully this game will revive the series!

Because SEGA seems a bit like Capcom. They'll release an absolutely kick-ass game. Then port it, Make spinoffs, add gimmicks, till finally the series is dull and boring.

Tin Can Man the developer you are looking for waht that is the worst at porting, spin offs, remakes etc is Square Enix, i don't think they have heard the term make a new game

Nearly everyfinal fantasy is a new game, diffrent story, diffrent charchters, diffrent magic systems, only sequals have been FF7 movie and the FFX-2.

True!

Monkey Ball's ball looks a bit 2D/Touch & Roll-like. It doesn't blend with the surroundings.

Steam: Guess what?

Im suprised Splinter Cell isnt coming out for Wii. But at least it add's life to the Gamecube.

OMFG YES! Settlers looks a lot like Settlers II. Oh baby.

out of all of them i have to say rayman is looking really good. monkey ball is an improvement on previous but its only made itself look solid. monkey ball has a style that isn't meant to blow your eyes out of your sockets they've always been solid and basic.
one piece is shaping up well and hopefully we'll get a european release.
the best part of this is being able to compare the difference from cube to wii and their is a difference. its all to do with scale and smoothness and this is the same thing that i noticed when i went from xbox to 360. i wasn't blown away by 360 but you just notice an improvement in overall solidity.

Really showing the lack of power in the wii/lack of skill in the developers here. Check out the angles in those curves..

I still think it looks good... Rocks often still look shit and unrealistic even in 360 games. I think it looks far smoother than anything on the GC...

Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

I better hurry up and get a DS, i'm missing alot.
