By Jorge Ba-oh 27.06.2006 13

Conspiracy Entertainment Europe sent us some goodies this morning on their unique pinball experience, Flipper Critters DS.

The game spawns an expansive, rich and engaging fantasy word that's inhabited by bizzare looking creatures, a whole bucket load of quests and challenges and most importantly an overhaul to the classic pinball formula.

Mini-games and exciting options also accompany the main mode for some fast and exciting handheld fun on the move.

A brand new trailer reveals this DS gem in action.

Flipper Critters launches in September 2006.

it has a pretty weird wrong aspect-ratio. But looks guite intrigueing.

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

An interesting looking game, especially in action! Hopefully will be easy to pick up and play, as it does look a little bit odd at the moment.

Looks... different. Personally I'm not a big fan of pinball games but that looks quite interesting.

Erm... yeh.

Yeah, definitely - looks like a cool take on the game. For me personally I wouldn't buy it, but would definitely give it a good try out.

Unfortunately the YouTube version is out of proportion. Anyone that wants the original full, QuickTime version, click: this link

Seriously worth watching the video properly as it shows some VERY impressive DS graphics - powerful 3D on both screens at the same time!

Kudos to the devs for successfully pulling the dual screened 3d-ness off. It certainly looks the part, hopefully gamplay will match up.

im liking the look of it the camera looks just a little bit strange but i can live with that!! Smilie

OMFG! One of about 3 DS games that looks on par with the N64!Smilie

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Dragon Quest Monsters, A.S.H., Phantom Hourglass, FFIII, FF: CC...? Smilie

So do they actually have a publisher now? Last time they sent around screenshots to all the sites, they were still looking for one.

hope they correct the spelling so that two 'friends' as opposed to two 'fiends' set out on a journey together....

unless its supposed to be like that?
