A Nintendo game at No 3? I need a drink...
I still don't understand why you guys don't just post charts rather than these long paragraphs... *sigh*
Anyway; I find it very frustrating that Sony marketing is so huge, and everyone seems to think that the DS is a sinking ship around here. People I've talked to in University still seem convinced that Nintendo aren't making money and should go 3rd Party.
Do something about it Nintendo! Increase your marketing budget and prescence like never before!
There obviously doing allright, 18% is not a bad ammount its still a huge chunk of moolah.
I still don't understand why you guys don't just post charts rather than these long paragraphs... *sigh*
And Animal Crossing at no3? My gosh! I suppose the 2 year delay on the Cube gamemeant that its impact on the UK was limited, but this time it's doing great!
Finally it's nice to see several other DS games in the top 40 (even if they have fallen places). Can't wait for the arrival of the new Nintendogs, Super Mario Bros and the DS Lite...Nintendo might even be kicking ass in the UK in the not too distant future!

Just speculating but maybe you have to pay to display a copy of the list.
I prefer it like this though, keep up the good work Adam.
Animal Crossing at number 3? That's mental, I know I predicted it as the next big game after Nintendogs, but this is insanity. GOOD insanity.
The 18% for Nintendo isn't factual Ptolemy, it's just the graphic we use for the charts.
I agree with Timotei that they need to increase their marketing budget, but they're not doing so bad now. They just need to get a few more billboard adverts up, or on the side of buses, they've got TV adverts down to a T at the moment. Also to Timotei: the link to the charts is at the bottom, and as Grumbler rightfully points out you're not really supposed to just rip the charts right off the page. If you just want to look at the charts, skip the (informative, lovingly written by Adam) paragraphs and click the ChartTrack link at the bottom.
Nice work Adam.
i PREFER THE CHAT FORMAT, IT MAKES FOR AN EASIER READ
Oh, well the 'paying for the charts' thing is enough for me!
Stick with the Paragraphs
Animal Crossing is amazing...too bad its the only game that's having much success...
Heroes 5 is out?!?!?!
where where...
*runs around*
1.) If people hover their mouse pointers over the image it says it's just for illustrative purposes.
2.) It's illegal to just copy / paste images from Chart Track and it actually takes JUST as long to re-write the chart placings than it does to summarise like I do...and since I prefer writing over mindlessly re-formatting chart lists, I'd prefer to stick to this method, thanks
Anyway, superb to see Animal Crossing doing so well. BUT, Nintendo DROPPED Metroid like a BOMB after the first week (in-store as far as I can see, anyway) and the result is it's nose-diving...
About time a Nintendo game reached the top 3...
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!! Animal Crossing KIX YO ASS!!!
Yay! It's so great to have it so high, there are about 4 or 5 DS games in the top 40. Truly a good time for Nintendo in UK.
I mean it's still better for Sony & Microsoft, but good for Nintendo nonetheless.
