E3 2006 News | Atlus Confirms Trauma Centre for Wii Launch

By Adam Riley 12.05.2006 3

Atlus has quickly seen its contributions for Nintendo platforms grow over the past few years and this has been no more apparent than at this year's E3 event, where the company was not only showing off lots of games for current systems, but revealed a launch title for the Nintendo Wii (according to The Wiire). Here is the list of games that were shown:

  • Summon Night (GBA)
  • Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA)
  • Yggdra Union (GBA)
  • Contact (DS)
  • Deep Labyrinth (DS - as confirmed in Cubed3's exclusive interview with Interactive Brains)
  • Touch Detective (DS)
  • Yggdrasil Labyrinth (DS)
  • It has also now been confirmed that Atlus's Wii version of the hit Nintendo DS medical game Trauma Centre, sub-titled 'Second Opinion', is being lined up for the system's launch in Q4 2006.

Are you guys able to assemble an ever updated launch-list as such a list is requested by more people then just me.
    That would be great, guys...

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Nice to see a few GBA games in there. I'm not ready for my Gambeboy Micro to die just yet....Smilie

And another strong title for the Wii launch. All good stuff, apart from making the choice of what games i want on release day! Smilie

Laurelin, a launch list is tricky at the moment as nothing's concrete, but you've got games like:

    - Monkey Ball
    - Excite Truck
    - Metroid Prime 3
    - Wii Sports & Music
    - Red Steel
    - Elebits
    - Trauma Centre: SO
    - Spongebob
    - WarioWare: SM

And Robbo, Summon Night's meant to be quite good and I simply can't wait for Yggdra Union! It got 35/40 in Famitsu and is meant to be better than the excellent Riviera Smilie
