The Nintendo Switch OLED is launching on Friday 8th October for £309.99/ 364.99€. The new and improved Nintendo Switch features a 7 inch OLED display, up from 6.2 inches on the original model. The OLED display replaces the previous LCD panel allowing for better levels of contrast. Nintendo have also updated the speakers to now include enhanced audio, and the latest firmware update has enabled wireless headphones to be used with all models of the Nintendo Switch. The new and improved dock features a dedicated Ethernet/LAN port for more stable online gaming sessions, at the expense of a USB-A port.
There are a range of highly anticipated games making their way to Nintendo Switch for the final quarter of the year including heavy hitters such as Metroid Dread, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Mario Party Superstars and Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp to name but a few.
