INSiGHT: NEO Magazine: Issue 181 (Review)

In October's issue of NEO, there is an interview with Mamoru Hosoda, creator of the upcoming Mirai of the Future, lots of focus on Halloween Scares in the film and TV show recommendations, alongside a showcase of creepy cosplay from Japan. The smash hit franchise Attack on Titan returns for a new season, and the flip side of the issue takes a long look at Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise through an interview with studio heads Daisuke Sato and Jun Orihara.

This month's Manga Snapshot article goes in-depth on Life in a Hole, an unusual release that, much like other publications mentioned in the article, focuses on an audience of retired people, and tells the tales of mostly middle-aged women. October's Manga Extract takes on a red hue with The Alibi, a stylish mother-and-daughter investigation story that highlights the effect of time has on an established crime's circumstances.
