Nintendo's next mobile apps will be new Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem titles.
Following the success of Miitomo, Nintendo will be bringing two of its most popular franchises to smartphones this autumn.
It sounds like Nintendo will be releasing a new Animal Crossing title for its gaming systems on top of the mobile game, as the company announced that the mobile entry is being designed so that users will be able to connect to the dedicated gaming systems' world of Animal Crossing.
The more hardcore series, Fire Emblem, will be made more accessible for mobile users, with Nintendo aiming to provide the value of a strategy RPG.
Nintendo reiterates that these two titles are pure game applications, and will tie closely with the company's dedicated gaming business. More information for both is expected closer to their release dates this autumn.
