Yes, the Pikachu Detective Game is Real and he Speaks on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Everyone's favourite electric yellow mouse is getting his own detective game, Great Detective Pikachu.

The concept was hinted at back in 2013, with a trademark spotted for "Great Detective Pikachu." It's now becoming reality, with Pikachu learning to speak and channeling his best Sherlock-esque skills in a brand new game for the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Out on 3rd February in Japan, the adventure game features Pikachu solving puzzles, churning down coffee and interrogating criminals. There's even one moment in the trailer where Pikachu appears to glare up a skirt. The cheeky bugger!

I find it very interesting that the (real) city in the trailer is not someplace in Japan, but rather is my home city of Boston, MA (USA).

Perhaps they filmed the trailer the weekend of the Pokemon World Championships last August?
