By Jorge Ba-oh 26.02.2003 1

Reports from Jeux-France suggest that an adaptation of Metal Gear Solid has been in development by both Nintendo and Konami in order to expose the genre on the Gamecube.

Metal Gear Solid on GameCube would use the connectivity between the Gamecube/Game Boy Advance. At present, the exact features this could hold are unknown.

Nintendo Europe: "Mr. Miyamoto in an interview with the media in Italy (Monday 24th February) confirmed the following:

- Nintendo are working with Konami on Metal GEAR Solid for the GameCube.

- Also, Nintendo are working with EA on sport games for GameCube, making uses of connectivity with the Game Boy Advance.

This news should not to be regarded as official as it is still partial to rumours, but, Jeux-France is a reliable source.

More news as it breaks.
