This latest edition of MyM Magazine brings with it all of the usual fan favourites, including behind the scenes access to all of the hottest MCM events. This issue covers the MCM Birmingham Comic Con, bringing with it exclusive interviews with the casts of Once Upon a Time and Game of Thrones, along with Starship Troopers' Dina Mayor, and the superb Liv Tyler.
One of the most exciting articles this month is an interview from London MCM Comic Con with their guest of honour, Shigeto Koyama. Even non-anime fans will be familiar with his work, recently designing Baymax for Big Hero 6. He is a phenomenal designer and art director, combining Western and Japanese styles for a unique and fresh look, as is made evident from some of his work like Kill la Kill and Panty and Stocking.
With this being the end of year issue, there is also a feature on some of the hottest new properties to keep an eye out for in 2016. This includes all the biggest games, movies, TV shows, and not to mention the big new licences from Manga, Animatsu, Anime Limited and MVM.
The reviews section is full to capacity this month, some of the highlights including Platinum End, the latest Manga work from Death Note Mangaka, finally getting it's English digital release along with the first volume of the much touted "Next Pokémon," Yokai Watch for the Manga releases. The complete Danganronpa series, along with the latest Sword Art Online and Ghost in the Shell releases, head up the anime, and, finally, there are some major gaming releases reviewed this month. Just Cause 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Star Wars Battlefront, Rise of the Tomb Raider, amongst others.
All of this, along with a 15th Anniversary retrospective of iconic Japanese cinema hit Battle Royale, interviews with Boys Republic and Kamijyo for the K-Pop and J-Pop fans out there, and loads, loads more.
