Will we See Linkle Again in the Future?

Will Linkle survive beyond Hyrule Warriors Legends? Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma isn't ruling it out.

Linkle, a crossbow wielding star of Legends, is touted as a female take on Link, but her inclusion in a spin-off game has had fans wondering whether she'll pop up in a future title in the series. Aside from the usual cast - Princess Zelda and Ganondorf - many characters have typically been isolated to single titles throughout the years.

Speaking to Aonuma, he confirmed that the team will "keep her in mind" when working on future titles, and wouldn't rule out seeing her again.

He gave feedback during development, and despite her being different from characters in the Warriors franchise, Aonuma thinks "she doesn't feel out of place at all in the world of the Zelda games."
