It's the second issue of MyM Magazine to arrive here at Cubed3, and it is definitely one worth reading from cover to cover, filled with great snippet news stories, mixed between the superb articles and reviews.
This issue, once again impresses, with its event coverage, this time looking at the history of SDCC and the possibilities of its future, along with on-site coverage of one of Europe's biggest gaming conventions, Gamescom. There are first-hand reactions to many of the biggest upcoming games that were shown off there, including the highly anticipated Fallout 4 and the annoyingly delayed Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.
On the features front, there are interviews with the iconic Dragon Ball Z English voice actors in anticipation of the upcoming new movie, "Resurrection F," which thanks to the guys at Manga has received a cinema showing across the UK. There's a look at some of the biggest Western cartoons that have been heavily influenced by anime, like Avatar the Last Airbender and Teen Titans, and, finally, there is an exclusive interview with May J from her recent UK visit for Hyper Japan, where she talks about her music, presenting on NHK and what the future holds for her. Fans of sister show, K-Pop Korner, may recall that she was a special guest there, doing her first ever UK radio interview back in August.
The review section takes up a massive amount this month. Along with the usual spattering of new movies, Manga and comics, there is a mammoth amount of games and anime reviewed. It's a great month for anime and gaming fans out there, with so many great new titles hitting retail across all platforms.
All this, and plenty more besides, Issue 42 is available now everywhere and is once again a great read and essential for all Otaku out there.
