Allison Road Nears Halfway Crowdfunding Goal on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A fan-based spiritual successor to the Silent Hills playable teaser P.T. is nearing its halfway funding goal after just eight days on Kickstarter.

After Silent Hills was cancelled by Konami back in April, developers, and Silent Hill fans, Lilith Ltd. began work on an homage using the Unreal Engine 4, taking additional inspiration from games such as Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil, and Dead Space.

The Kickstarter gameplay trailer promises a similar play style to P.T. with a narrative driven, avant-garde, survival horror, first person experience. The developers say it's as much about what you can't see, as what you can see and the photo-realistic graphics and terrifying sounds look to add to a full audio/visual horror experience.

With 22 days left of the campaign, Lilith Ltd. look set to reach their $250,000 target.  If successful, Allison Road will be available on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PS4

Have you backed Allison Road? What is your favourite survival horror game?

So much yes for this game. Hope it's decent.

I'm fresh off the back of playing through Outlast so I'm definitely up for more survival horror games where you can't defend yourself! Smilie

I was dubious at first--probably just angry that Silent Hills is never going to happen and nothing will fill the hole P.T. left in me, but darn it, this just looks good enough to give it a shot.

Backed this on day 1, and I'm over the moon to see it doing so well. Absolutely can not wait to get my hands on it. Smilie
