Try Nine Indie Wii U Games for Free - Including Freedom Planet, RIVE and Runbow

Nintendo have released a selection of free Wii U demos for nine upcoming indie games during E3 week.

To celebrate the variety of different games penned by small studios and single developers, Nintendo have released demo versions of nine Nindie games - available from today until 8:59am PT, 22nd June.

Those who download the demo will also get 15% off the full release for up to a month after each game becomes available to download on the eShop. The selection of indie demos include:

• Extreme Exorcism (Ripstone) - out Q3
• forma.8 (Mixed Bag) - out this fall
• Freedom Planet (GalaxyTrail) - out August
• Lovely Planet (tinybuild and QUICKTEQUILA) - out December
• Mutant Mudds Super Challenge (Renegade Kid) - out summer
• RIVE (Two Tribes) - out November
• Runbow (13AM Games) - out Q3 2015
• Soul Axiom (Wales Interactive) - out December
• Typoman (Headup Games and Brainseed Factory) - out Q3 2015
