Smash Controller Released on 3DS eShop

A new application for use with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has been quietly released onto the Nintendo 3DS.

Smash Controller allows players to play Super Smash Bros. for Wii U using a Nintendo 3DS as a controller. This functionality is also available on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, but this new application means that the cartridge is no longer necessary for multiplayer fun on the home console.

Smash Controller also acts as storage so that customised fighters can be brought from one copy of the Wii U game to another.

Smash Controller is available now on Nintendo 3DS for £0.89.
