Touch amiibo for Retro Gems with amiibo Touch & Play Next Week

Want to put those amiibo figures to good use? Nintendo are releasing amiibo Touch & Play next week.

amiibo Touch & Play is a unique, free app for Wii U that lets players try out quick bites from classic, retro games - each session lasting just three minutes. The amiibo retro Nintendo games functionality was announced back in February.

Each of these games are randomly selected from thirty titles each time a player taps an amiibo onto the GamePad. Future taps with the same figure load different scenes from within the same classic title.

Games from the roster include Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Mario Kart.
