New Animal Crossing Title Will Introduce Amiibo Cards on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

In the Nintendo Direct earlier tonight, Nintendo revealed the latest entry in the beloved Animal Crossing series: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for Nintendo 3DS eShop.

The focus in this game is on helping the fellow villagers to redecorate their homes to fit their tastes and criteria. No more running small errands, as all the focus is on the design aspects of the title.

To go with this title, Nintendo is also introducing the latest branch in the amiibo family, amiibo cards. These will be used in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer to play with the villagers on the cards in question.

For people who have yet to purchase a New Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo is also releasing an NFC reader for the earlier entries in the 3DS family, including the original 3DS and 2DS, so that everyone will still be able to enjoy the great fun that amiibo add to the N3DS title.
