Indie, retro shooter Starr Mazer will be getting stretch goals for potential Wii U and 3DS versions.
The game, from developer Imagos Softworks, is described as a "retro-sexy sci-fi epic with modern design sensibilities, open-middled gameplay and RPG elements." It blends two genre types - Point and Click with 2D shooters, as players board the Starr Wolf craft and blast through tricky courses through space.
Starr Mazer also features a more dynamic narrative, with the game's storyline compared to a season of a TV show, with each "episode" having multiple exit and entry points, shaping the ending based on player actions.
The project has a $160,000 initial goal, with additional stretch targets of $220,000 (Wii U) and $300,000 (3DS).
