Totaka's Song Spotted in Mario Kart 8

The now iconic Tokata's Song can now be heard in Mario Kart 8, as spotted by one fan this week.

For those unfamiliar with the jingle, Tokata's Song is a 19 note melody devised by Nintendo composer Kazumi Totaka, hence the name. However, the jingle is rarely heard in Nintendo titles, often tucked away and only played after meeting certain criteria.

Now the song has been uncovered in Mario Kart 8, heard when driving alongside a Yoshi standing on the sidelines.
