SpongeBob HeroPants Swims onto Nintendo 3DS

A hero from the depths of the ocean as Spongebob HeroPants is swimming onto various systems this year.

Following the events of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water movie, the game sees the adorable yellow chap experience a case of dreams coming to life. SpongeBob teams up with his fellow friends to unlock their hidden abilities and rebuild his psyche. There'll be alternate forms of Bikini Bottom to explore, as Spongebob's mind manifests itself into all sorts of worlds - prehistoric, candy-coated and even a war zone.

SpongeBob HeroPants features a handful of playable characters including SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, Mr. Krabs and Plankton, each transforming into different forms to solve puzzles and tackle Spongebob's warped imagination.

The game will be available on 3DS, Xbox 360 and PS Vita, with a US launch on 3rd February, with Europe to follow in March.
