Tingle Was Considered for Hyrule Warriors on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Want to play as Tingle in Hyrule Warriors? According to Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi, he was considered.

Tingle, the popular Hylian, is a thirty-five year old chap who is just a little bit too obsessed with faries in the forest. He aspires to become a fairy himself, dressing up in the "Hero's Clothes" - complete with pointy green hat. Despite his peculiar guise, Tingle has been a vital part of Link's adventures, often forging maps and dishing out nifty info.

He's appeared in a fair few games, as an NPC or cameo, including The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

According to Hayashi, the team "went back and forth" when deciding whether to include Tingle in Hyrule Warriors, however "Aonuma suggested that it might be good to include some other character," he revealed.

Would you like to play as Tingle in Hyrule Warriors? Would he fit?
