Curve Digital have announced a new project on the way next year for multiple platforms, a shooter known as Ultratron.
Announced on Twitter earlier this week, the project is pitched as a "psychotropic arena shooter in space. Kill invading robots and possibly your own brain cells!" It's in development for various platforms, including Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and PS Vita.
Puppygames is working on the project, creators of Titan Attacks, as a classic arcade game with a more modern twist, vibrant graphics and "addictive risk-and-reward play."
There'll be two player co-operative play, adaptive difficulty (based on player skill) and over 40 neon levels, where players blast through Chasers, Turrets, Minelayers, Spawners and more, before facing the four robot bosses of the Apocalypse.
What do you think of the Ultratron concept so far?
