After being on sale for just over a month, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has sold over a million units across North America.
A combined total of both physical/cartridge sales in the US saw more than 485,000 units being sold in October, securing the game's position in the ever-growing list of software to sell over 1 million units in the US.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is the best selling handheld title so far in the US this year, but will face competition from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when both games launch on 21st November.

Sales include both physical/digital sales, as well as software bundled with hardware.
Nintendo confirmed also that Wii U hardware sales have increased by 47%, with software figures increasing by 84% during the first 10 months of 2014, compared to the same period last year.
