Hori to Release Pikachu GameCube Controller on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Peripherals gurus Hori have added another classic GameCube controller to the mix, this time themed after Pikachu.

With Mario themed colours already on the way,  in time for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the iconic electric mouse also wants a slice of the GameCube action. The controller comes in a yellow shell, complete with Pikachu artwork, turbo functions and additional shoulder buttons in a contrasting black.

The controller is compatible with Wii and Wii U games by using the Wii Remote as a means of connecting up to the hardware, much like a Wii Classic Controller.

The Pikachu GameCube controller will be available in Japan from 20th December 2014.
