Developed by the creators of the Fire Emblem and Advance Wars series, Intelligent Systems, the game is pitched as a "turn-based tactical action RPG" that features the likes of former American president Abraham Lincoln. In the game, Lincoln tasks the secret agents of S.T.E.A.M to stop an alien invasion. How? By simply using steam powered weapons.
In today's Nintendo Direct, a new mechanic called "Overwatch" was introduced, where characters can bottle up steam to unleash deadly attacks against foes during their turn.
Code Name: S.T.E.A.M will roll up on Nintendo 3DS during May next year.
