Nintendo has confirmed a Nintendo 3DS remake of the fan-favourite The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
The Nintendo 64 adventure, released back in 2000, took a slightly darker turn for the series, bringing new time-based mechanics. With just three in-game days to save an alternative world, Termina, from the brink of disaster, protagonist Link had a momentous task on his hands.
Majora's Mask has been a firm favourite amongst fans of the series; a game that's constantly topped polls of past titles that players felt deserved remake treatment. Now, players can relive the classic game on the Nintendo 3DS as a remake, confirmed by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata during tonight's Nintendo Direct presentation.
The moon is set to collide with 3DS and 2DS during Spring 2015.
Fans in Europe will also get the chance to bag a limited-edition version of the game, which includes a badge, poster and steelbook:
Will you relive or take on the Majora's Mask challenge on Nintendo 3DS next year?
