Could Pokémon Bridge Together All Regions? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Pokémon producer Junichi Masuda recently answered a fan question on bringing together all regions.

With the ever-popular Pokémon series having a growing number of new worlds, cities and critters, could these localised regions be brought together? Cubed3 member Tman!! asked whether Masuda would consider a "Pokémon game with all regions".

Curious about the idea, Masuda stated that Game Freak could implement the idea "if we could come up with a way to make that interesting".

That said, on a personal level he feels that "it would be more fun for us all to enjoy different locations and then share that experience together than all have the same experience in the same region."

Do you think Nintendo can work together a game that bridges the existing Pokémon landscape?

In other words no it won't happen because we make too much money annualising the franchise and creating two versions of the game with minor differences.

would be a good idea but that would be a mamouth game...maybe too big for a handheld Smilie
