Link Rides the Master Cycle in Mario Kart 8 on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have shared two new pieces of art for upcoming Mario Kart 8 DLC, including a Legend of Zelda bike.

With the inclusion of Link from The Legend of Zelda in the popular Nintendo racer for the first time, it's only fitting that the Hylian superstar get his own vehicle design. The "Master Cycle" will be included in the first DLC pack for the game, packing plenty of... horse power.

The second piece of art looks at the Villager and Isabelle character models for the second part of the DLC updates, due in May 2015.

would b cool if the new characters came with new attacking and defensive items; such as links shield to defend against boomerangs, green shells and fireballs, an axe attack that works similar to the fireball for villager or even navi to give the driver maximum gold coins

Got my bundle already purchased, November can't come soon enough!!

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Man November.....The month of May cain't come soon enough for the second DLC pack. I doint know why the decided to wait soooo loooong?? It escapes  me...... Smilie

Well Nintendo is also releasing new tracks as well. My guess is they need the time to fine tune everything in the second pack to make sure it works. Nintendo never half asses quality when it comes to their own games.
