Why Ice Climbers Aren

Curious as to why Ice Climbers aren't included in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS?

In a feature in Japanese magazine Famitsu, the game's producer Masahiro Sakurai noted how the pair were running in the Wii U version, but due to hardware constraints of the 3DS, weren't included. Ice Climbers just couldn't work in the 3DS game.

He also revealed how Akihiro Toda, writer for the iconic Mother series, wrote the descriptions for the trophies in the game.

Do you think Ice Climbers should be included, at least in the Wii U version?

Hmm - do still hope the Wii U version unlocks characters in the 3DS version, with Ice Climbers being Wii U exclusive.

I Reckon it's DLC for sure!

I'm also hedging my bets on Rayman being announced as a playable character plus I bet Wolf will get an announcement for DLC when we hear more details on Starfox Wii U.

Yeah, DLC sounds likely. It's such a shame though for the 3DS, they were so cute.
