Avid gamer and The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon took to Twitter to let fans know his favourite game of 2014 so far.

Along with the comment "Best with WiiU Pro controllers. Bowser. Sport bike. Slick tires," Fallon declared Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U his game of the year so far for 2014.

Fallon has amassed an impressive 14.5 million Twitter followers, and his Mario Kart 8 tweet raked in almost 5000 "favourites," his most-favourited tweet of the day. From families to talk show hosts, Mario Kart 8 continues to be one of the most-loved games of the year.
