On Miiverse, director Masahiro Sakurai posted a look at the sound selection for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
Sakurai started with a glimpse at the sound selection screen, which includes a selection or remixed/arranged compositions and original tunes. He also touched on the interface on the bottom of the 3DS screen, which also allows players to play music whilst in sleep mode to "use it as a portable music player". Songs can be shuffled, selected and looped and skipped using the L/R buttons.
In the "Smash Run" mode, music plays randomly from songs players select from the list. "Usually each stage has two tracks-which makes for a lot of songs on its own-but as a bonus, we've added more songs for you to enjoy in Smash Run and in the Sounds area."
