Youkai Watch Confirmed for the West in 2015

Level-5 president Akihiro Hino has confirmed that there are plans to finally release Youkai Watch in the West.

The game, which has performed exceptionally in Japan, has had strong demand from players outside the country, but Level-5 has yet to release a single game in the West. When asked, Hino noted how the company are currently working to "release it [Youkai Watch] sometime next year."

He feels that the game has "strong appeal as a very Japanese-ish fantasy story", with "support from a foreign toy maker company saying that it will be a definite success."
