Fan Feedback Added Baddies to Hyrule Warriors on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Why are the baddies playable characters in Hyrule Warriors? It's down to fan feedback, according to Koei Tecmo.

The forthcoming Wii U brawler will let players step into the shoes, or paws, of some of Hyrule's finest characters - including Link himself, Princess Zelda, Shiek, Lana and Princess Ruto.

However, there'll also be a selection of baddies to play as, a decision made due to fan feedback. In the latest issue of Game Informer, producer Youske Hayashi noted how the inclusion of Ghirahim and Zant was "in response to people who wanted to try playing as them."

What other characters will you like to see added to Hyrule Warriors?

Ooookaaaay....so why don't devs listen to fans when it comes to other things that may matter more to a games success?

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Would love to see more random characters like that farmer bloke from OoT, armed with a pitchfork or something lol.

Others:

  • Nabooru - sword, revealing... outfit.
  • Dark Link costume
  • Stalfoss Knight - Sword/sheild
  • Skull Kid/Majora - random magic/projectiles
  • Fierce Diety Link - giant ass sword
  • Zora Link - boomerang fins, close-range melee attacks
  • Groose - Fists.
  • Twinrova - fire/ice projectiles
  • Saria - I've heard her mentioned by others, but not sure she'd work - perhaps armed with a Deku Leaf / Deku stick / Ocarina of special moves?
