More Content Planned for Hyrule Warriors on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The team behind Hyrule Warriors have promised expansions and updates for the game in the future.

In a Tweet from the official Hyrule Warriors account, the team noted now the game is a "festive" Legend of Zelda project, and there are plans for "long-term updates and a large-scale mode expansion." Koei Tecmo are also working on fixing a few bugs in the game.

"The development staff will be working in the midst of Obon. Keep it a secret from everyone!"

It's good to see devs working with Nintendo & showing long time support is in-store. Hope this helps dispel the misconception that a lot of NEW gamers have about Nintendo not being a note worthy or supported company.

I could see characters like Wizro, Valga and Cia getting added through dlc, hopefully more then that as well.

I could see NEW characters being added to the game, more than this. Those should've been playable from the start, at the very least, Cia. (Unless they are?)

Well the 3 empty slots in the character select pic are for Gannondorf, Girahim & Zant....but who's to say it can't be expanded? Smilie

Yeah they should've been in tbh but their definitely not playable. Maybe they'll have female link as dlc Smilie

I hope Nintendo makes Cia, Valga, Wizzro playable as DLC characters, if they're not unlockable from the original game itself.
