Nintendo president Satoru Iwata is on the road to recovery, according to statement from the company.
Within the news today of Nintendo's first quarter fiscal results came word on how Iwata is feeling since having to take time out for surgery to remove a bile-duct growth. Speaking to Bloomberg today, Nintendo representative Yasuhiro Minagawa confirmed that "Iwata is recovering steadily" and that "there is no interference with his business as president."
The company confirmed an operating loss of 9.4 billion yen ($92.70 million) for the three month period ending June 30th, this morning.
