A Behind the Scenes Look at the Sonic Boom TV Show on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The cheeky hedgehog Sonic is getting a new TV show within the Sonic Boom universe. SEGA have posted a behind the scenes look at the production.

Co-produced by SEGA of America Inc. and OuiDO! Productions, the show will debut on Cartoon Network in the US and Canal J and Gulli in France. Each episode will be just 11 minutes long, but will boast striking rendered 3D graphics and a comedic script.

The video highlights some of the drawing techniques, putting the concept art together and how these storyboards come to life in the animation process. The whole show involved over 200 people working for over two years to bring the Sonic Boom world to the living room.
