The Deer God Meets Wii U Stretch Goal

Indie game The Deer God has reached its Kickstarter stretch goal today, with just over 24 hours to go.

The Deer God, as the name suggests, finds players stepping into the paws of a deer, who travels across a 3D retro-look pixel world. The twist? The deer is a reincarnated hunter, who suffers from a bit of karma from years of butchering these poor animals.

The campaign has now met its Wii U target, securing a place for the adventure on Nintendo's home console.
