Ubisoft are working on a new version of Tetris for Nintendo 3DS, Tetris Ultimate.
The publisher confirmed the new game for a release this fall, inviting new features and power-ups for the classic puzzler. As well as the regular "Marathon" and "Endless" modes, there'll be a three-minute "Ultra" challenge, the 40 line "Sprint" and the classic battles between 1-4 other Tetris players.
In "Battle Ultimate", players can use power-ups to dump all sorts of traps on the rival screens, plus use the "Buzz Saw" to get out of trouble.
Experts and seasoned Tetris fans can also try out a set of challenges, including disappearing Tetriminos and pieces that can't rotate.
